HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 29-year-old Inman man who was arrested in Hutchinson on drug-related charges last year now has a trial date.

Richard Manwarren II is charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia with intent to sell and possession of Hydrocodone. He allegedly had 8 grams of meth, a digital scale, as well as the Hydrocodone.

The arrest occurred in the 1200 block of South K-61 back on Feb. 17, 2016.

Judge Trish Rose set a tentative trial date of Feb. 13.

Manwarren is currently serving time for some of his prior convictions, including two convictions for aggravated battery, two convictions for violation of a protection from abuse order, aggravated intimidation of a witness, or victim, and burglary. Although in prison, he is scheduled to be released next month.
