HUTCHINSON, Kan. — For the fourth time, the sentencing hearing for one of two men convicted for the robbery of two Dillons stores in Hutchinson back in October of 2016 was continued.

Majesty Wade was convicted for the holdup of two Dillons stores in Hutchinson. He wore a Halloween mask and removed money from the stores by force. The first robbery was at the North Main Dillons where he acted alone. The second happened at the East 4th Avenue store and involved a co-defendant, 19-year-old D’Angelo Williams of Manhattan.

Wade was injured in a drive-by shooting in Topeka back in October, according to Deputy District Attorney Tom Stanton and was apparently suffering chest pains Tuesday morning.

Judge Joe McCarville agreed to continue the sentencing hearing once again. It is set for Jan. 4.
