RENO COUNTY — A Kansas man was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Monday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Orvin R Schrock, 76, Haven, was traveling northeast on Arlington Road crossing K-96. The driver failed to yield to an eastbound 2008 Volvo driven by Treva J. Strand, 64, Hutchinson.

The Volvo struck the van.

Schrock was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Strand was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
