HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A local man accused of attempted aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery was bound over for trial Thursday.
Abram Roth is accused of taking $786.41 by force. He’s also accused of conspiring to commit the crime with Marsha Griffin. The alleged crimes occurred on Sept. 16 at the Whispers Video store in Hutchinson.
Roth has two other cases pending where he’s charged with violation of the offender registration act because of a conviction for manufacturing a controlled substance in Harvey County. That crime occurred on Aug. 31, 2017. The third case includes theft of property or services for stealing some Nike shoes and personal use drug paraphernalia. Those two crimes occurred on June 13, 2017.
He waived his right to a preliminary hearing for those two cases and will be arraigned on all the charges next month.
