HUTCHINSON, Kan. — One of the two men convicted of charges in association with the robbery of two Dillons stores in Hutchinson back in October of 2016 was scheduled for sentencing, but once again, was a no-show in court.

Majesty Wade was convicted of charges involving the holdup of two Dillons stores in Hutchinson by wearing a Halloween mask and removing money from the stores by force. The first robbery was at the North Main Dillons where he acted alone. The second happened at the East 4th Avenue store and involved a co-defendant, 19-year-old D’Angelo Williams of Manhattan.

Wade originally entered a plea to one count of robbery.

As part of a plea agreement, both sides were going to recommend community corrections, but since he continues to be a no-show in court, that may not happen.

Judge Joe McCarville issued a bench warrant for his arrest with a $100,000 bond.
