MCPHERSON COUNTY  —One person was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Friday in McPherson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Peterbilt truck driven by  Carl A. Emerson, 75, Amarillo, TX., was exiting from southbound old U.S. 81 highway to westbound Kansas 153 highway.

The truck left the roadway and overturned.

Emerson was transported to the hospital in McPHerson. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
