The case against one of three men convicted in the killing of a Hutchinson man in 2008 is expected to go before the Kansas Court of Appeals on Tuesday, that being 32-year-old Felton Williams Jr.

The case involves the gunshot killing of 21-year-old Kenneth White back on September 1st, 2008. White had been shot twice, once in the leg, and then the fatal shot to the back of his head at his west side Hutchinson home. The three were caught later that day after being stopped by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Williams was convicted of murder in the 2nd degree and sentenced to just over 20-years in prison for his part in the murder. He was thought to be the actual shooter of White.

District Attorney Keith Schroeder is expected to argue the states side of the appeal.
