A trash dumpster fire at Pools Plus early Sunday also caused some smoke damage to the Downtown Hutch Rec Offices, the Keller Leisure Arts Center – at 17 E. 1st.

Due to the damage, all classes and activities normally held at that location canceled for this week. That is only at the Keller Leisure Arts Center.

Hutch Rec Staff are setting up temporary offices at our other two Hutch Rec facilities, Elmdale Community Center at 400 E. Ave. E, and at Dillon Nature Center at 3002 E. 30th Ave.

Individuals wanting to register for Hutch Rec activities may do so by calling (620) 663-7411 or (620) 663-6170. They may also register in person at either Elmdale Community Center or at Dillon Nature Center.

Participants also may register at any time online at www.hutchrec.com. Registration for spring and summer activities is going on now, as the Spring/Summer Activity Guide is available online at www.hutchrec.com and will be delivered to Hutchinson residents later this week, on March 15.
