SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The South Hutchinson City Council got the ball rolling on what will be a
70-acre business and housing development located at Avenue F and Main.
According to City Manager Matt Stiles, the development could include a grocery store, office space, and new motel and housing — both high-end and senior living. The area is located in a large vacant field just west of Tom and Dan’s Tire and will include land annexed from the county.
Stiles says the project has been in the works for the past three years under the name “Heartland Development” and is expected to get into high gear very soon.
No word on what businesses could come to the area.
