HUTCHINSON, Kan. — 911 service in Reno County was back to normal early Sunday after the Hutchinson-Reno County Emergency Communications service experienced intermittent 911 outages due to damaged phone lines.

County residents were told to dial another number if they had issues. That was Saturday evening, but the intermittent 911 outages were resolved; everything was back to normal Sunday.

There were reports of similar issues in other counties in the state as well.
