HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 31-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for distribution of methamphetamine after he allegedly sold the drug at a home on East 9th.

Police then followed Darin Ferris to a home on North Pleasant where they found the money used in the drug buy, more methamphetamine — around 28.2 grams — as well as a scale.

Ferris was also arrested for failing to appear on a charge of driving while suspended.

He’s jailed on a bond of $14,500. He should be back in court within the next week for the formal reading of charges.

A Hutchinson man was arrested early Friday after law enforcement served a search warrant at a home on East C.

Steven Wooten faces potential charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a prescription drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His bond is set at $13,500.
