HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 53-year-old man with two cases already pending can add a third.

A parole officer went to the home of Teddy Decker on Feb. 2 for what is called a “home check.” During that visit, the officer apparently saw him holding a plastic case. The case fell to the floor and reportedly contained 20.1 grams of methamphetamine. The officer also reported finding a scale and a pipe with residue.

Because of that, Decker is looking at a possible charge of distribution of methamphetamine within a thousand feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.

It was back on Jan. 7 when he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine as well as criminal trespass for going into an apartment where he was not welcome.

On May 21 of last year, he was arrested on a drug charge and faces possession of methamphetamine and heroin with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of drug proceeds and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package.

Decker was released in April of 2016 for convictions of having the ingredients to manufacture methamphetamine, unlawful manufacturing and aggravated failure to appear.

He should be back in court for the latest arrest next Monday, Feb. 12.
