Holthus talks of his love for Kansas

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — He’s been the voice of the Kansas City Chiefs for more than 20 years and his love for the state of Kansas comes out at every turn. Mitch Holthus told of his love for the state and its people during his presentation at the Dillon Lecture Series. Holthus grew up in Smith Center and has always had strong ties to Kansas:

 

While there have been many stories of troubles in the NFL. Holthus says many have overlooked the really good things that come from the league:

Holthus also told Chiefs fans to hang on because, with the changes coming to the team, it will be exciting.
