SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The South Hutchinson Fire Dept. responded to the Tyson Foods plant for a small fire Tuesday morning.

The report of a fire on the roof came in around 9:11 a.m. The fire was located around the loading area on the south side of the facility.

The fire was put out quickly according to Emergency Management, but crews were still on the scene late this morning keeping an eye out for hot spots.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire has not been released at this time.
