HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Former Reno County Treasurer Clark Miller died Tuesday after a long illness at the age of 65. 

Miller served first as Deputy County Treasurer with the county in 1993. He was then elected County Treasurer and took office Oct. 9, 2001.

Miller lost the seat to former Treasurer Jan Hull and left the county office in October of 2013.

For a short time in 2014, he worked for Eagle Communications in the sales department.

Miller was a graduate of Nickerson High School and attended Hutchinson Community College and St. Mary of the Plains College.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Park Place Christian Church — 2600 N. Adams.
