HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Area Chapter of Women for Kansas announced Friday that it will have another meeting Monday at Shears Technology Auditorium on the Hutchinson Community College campus from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Idalia Schuman, KNEA Director of Teaching and Learning, will discuss “The Impact of the Current Political Climate on our Immigrant Students.” Esmeralda Tovar-Contreras, DACA recipient from Hutchinson and recent guest on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, will speak about her experiences.
Women for Kansas is a non-partisan group whose mission is to recruit, motivate, and educate women who advocate for moderate policies and actively participate in the process of electing moderates to public office.
