We’ll have to wait another week to find out the sentencing for a 22-year-old Hutchinson man in two drug cases.

Tyler Geddes had been sentenced to community corrections in March of last year on another case, but after the latest two arrest, those corrections were revoked and he was ordered to prison.

He was scheduled to be sentenced in two other cases Friday, but apparently, the Department of Corrections were not running buses this week, plus his attorney also wanted the continuance, although its not clear why.

Geddes entered pleas in both cases last month on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in one case and possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package, no tax stamp, and personal use drug paraphernalia.

In the first case, during the search on June 9, they found 56-grams of high grade marijuana, a digital scale and 14-hundred dollars in cash. The second search occurred on July 5, and they say they found 3-grams of marijuana, a metal grinder and a couple of smoking pipes. His home is located within a thousand feet of Wiley Elementary School.

Sentencing will now be next Friday at 10:30 a-m before Judge Tim Chambers.
