RENO COUNTY, Kan. — A rural Reno County man was arrested Saturday after an altercation with another man.

Jacob Salome denied he struck the victim, saying the victim is known to injure himself.
The victim says Salome struck him in the head. He was also hit in the ribs with a tree branch.
At the scene, Reno County Sheriff’s Deputies found blood on the floor of the shed. Deputies also found blood on a tree limb they believe was used in the attack. The victim had injuries to his face and bruising around his rib cage.
Salome managed to get his bond lowered to $10,000 Monday.
