HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Kansas Department of Transportation office in Hutchinson will have an open house and job fair on Friday, April 13, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This free event is part of National Work Zone Awareness Week.

Lots of trucks and equipment will be on display. Employees will be on hand to talk about the work they do.

They will also hand out freebies, such as: tote bags, notepads, and keychains.

Human Resources representatives will also take job applications.

Refreshments will be served during the three-hour event at 1220 W. 4th Ave. in Hutchinson.
