HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson School of Karate, in conjunction with officers from the Hutchinson Police Department, will be conducting stranger danger classes May 5 and 6 at the school — located at 3201 N. Lorraine.
Classes will be held May 5 at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., then on May 6 at 1 p.m. The class lasts about 90 minutes.
Instructors and officers will talk to kids about the importance of knowing what to do when a stranger approaches them. Classes are intended for kids 16 & under. Contact the Hutchinson School of Karate to reserve your seat today. Class sizes are limited, but offered several times.
There will be a pizza party after each class so kids can visit with officers and instructors.
