HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Rotary Club of Hutchinson named its 2018 grant recipients. Applications were evaluated for these criteria: youth education, youth leadership, youth literacy and youth health.

The following grants were awarded:

Hutchinson Community College Endowment Association for four $500 scholarships — $2,000

American Legion Boys State Scholarships — $550

American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Scholarships — $550

Communities That Care SOAR Program — $3,500

United Way of Reno County Dolly Parton Imagination Library  —$3,000

Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland scholarship program for leadership experiences — $1,500

Sunflower Girls State scholarship program  — $1,500

Boys & Girls Club of Hutchinson Junior Staff Program — $2,500

Ulster Project of Greater Hutchinson — $1,000

Trinity United Methodist Church Circles of Hope youth program  — $2,000

Horizons Child Advocacy Center Personal Safety Awareness Program  — $2,000

Reins of Hope Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program: Read, Feed & Lead — $463

Reno County 4-H Foundation — $500

Reno County Infant Toddler Program: Ready, Set, Talk! — $1,000
