An Ellis County Sheriff’s deputy died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Tuesday night at Mount Allen Cemetery.

Glenn J. Dreher, 47, was a 22-year veteran of the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office.

County Coroner Dr. Lyle Noordhoek determined there was no evidence of foul play.
