RENO COUNTY — A surfacing project on U.S. 50 in Reno County is scheduled to begin May 7.

Cornejo & Sons of Wichita is the prime contractor for the $945,315 project. Surfacing begins at Sego Road just northeast of Abbyville and continues east to Herren Road, just northeast of Partridge.

A pilot car and flaggers will control traffic. Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes.
