RENO COUNTY — A Hutchinson teen was taken to the hospital after an ATV accident in the county Saturday night.

The Reno County Sheriff’s Department reported that 14-year-old Trace Brown of Hutchinson was driving his 2000 Kawasaki Prairie ATV when his passenger, 16-year-old Kalvien Byers of Hutchinson, fell off and was injured as they turned into the driveway at 407 S. Obee Rd.

Byers was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for injuries. Byers was not injured.

The accident occurred just after 7 p.m. Saturday.
