Barton County man sentenced to 15+ years on federal meth conviction

WICHITA – A 45-year-old Barton County man has been sentenced to federal prison for more than 15-years for trafficking in methamphetamine.

Mark R. Wintholz, of Great Bend was sentenced to 188-months. He pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

In his plea, he admitted that investigators served a search warrant May 2, 2011, at his home in the 3100 block of 25th Street in Great Bend.

They seized about a quarter pound of methamphetamine and more than $5,000 in cash.
