NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson USD 309 School Board will look over a list of summer projects during tonight’s agenda session.
The board will look at rooftop air conditioning units for the district office, Reno Valley Middle School and the high school at a cost of $63,000; and work on the lights and ceilings at various buildings at a cost of $62,000.
The list also includes spending another $15,000 to renovate the gym floors in the district 5 school buildings. The total cost for summer capital outlay projects is around $141,650. Some items on the list were deferred until a final decision can be made on a possible bond issue for the district.
Tonight’s meeting of the Nickerson School Board begins at 6:30 p.m. at the district offices located at 4501 W. 4th Ave., just west of Fun Valley.
