WICHITA, Kan. — Another honor flight took off from Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita this morning.

The plane returns home at noon Friday and a ceremony will take place on the far east end of the lower level.

Those wanting to attend should be in the terminal by 11:15 a.m.

Airport officials note that these flights sometimes arrive early. Officials want to be in place and ready when those veterans arrive.

Small American flags will be available for a small donation.

The mission of Kansas Honor Flights is to fly all qualifying Kansas Veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit and reflect at their respective memorials built in honor of their service to our nation.
