HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The LUNAFEST Film Festival is coming to the Fox Theatre this Friday evening.

LUNAFEST, hosted by Soroptimist International of Hutchinson, is a traveling film festival of award-winning short films by, for, and about women.

This season, the program consists of nine films filled with stories of reflection, hope, and humor, and will travel to over 175 cities and screen in front of 25,000 people.

Each year, various organizations bring LUNAFEST to their communities and raise funds for their local non-profits. There will be a reception in the lobby from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Films begin at 7:00 and run until 9 p.m.

The public is invited.
