HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Fire crews were called to Apple Lane Thursday for a power pole on fire around 8:30 a.m.

Hutchinson Police closed down the road while firefighters put the fire out.

Apple Lane was temporarily closed this morning while Westar Energy crews worked on the pole. The street has reopened.

No injuries were reported. It is believed the fire started from a weather-related incident.
