SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The annual Kansas 4-H State Wheat Expo is set for Aug. 2 from 9 a.m.
to 3 p.m. at the Community Center in South Hutchinson.
The event is open to all 4-H family members, 4-H leaders and extension staff. Deryl Waldren with the K-State Research Center in Colby talked about the importance of keeping people connected to the state’s number one farm crop:
There will be eight contests open to youth members with cash prizes and ribbons awarded. Waldren listed the various categories:
