HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A major stretch of Buhler/Haven Road is getting a facelift in the near future.

Reno County Commissioners will take action on a contract with Flint Hills Materials of Cedar Point, Kansas, for the mill and overlay of the two-lane blacktop from K-96 in Haven, all the way to the McPherson County line north of Buhler.

The cost to resurface the 19 miles of road is $1,516,735. Once work gets underway, the project will take about two months to complete.

The Reno County Commission meeting is set for 9 a.m. in the Reno County Courthouse.
