Once in the emergency room, Bobbie Starks — a registered nurse at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center — says patients can be helped quickly, but timing is everything for treating stroke victims:
Starks also talked about those who may have what is called a “T.I.A.” or mini-stroke:
She says this is a warning and suggests you get checked to make sure it doesn’t lead to a much bigger event, which could cost you your life.
