HAVEN, Kan. — The Haven USD 312 School Board gave its consensus to send a proposed collective
bargaining agreement to the district’s 66 teachers for a vote.
The agreement by the board came during an early morning meeting Tuesday morning.
The district hopes that the teachers will vote on the proposal in the next week or so. If teachers ratify the new contract, it will come back before the board for final approval at the July 16 meeting.
Superintendent Clark Wedel says any specifics on the new agreement are being withheld until all teachers have a chance to look over the contract before the vote.
