Kansas man hospitalized after 3 semi crash in Kingman Co.

KINGMAN COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before noon Tuesday in Kingman County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Peterbilt semi driven by Darin Oetting, 41, Sylvan Grove, was northbound on K14 one half mile south of Rago. The vehicle lost the trailer that went left of center.

A southbound 2014 Freightliner semi driven by John Pulley, 60, Sharon, struck the trailer. Due to the collision, the driver lost control of the semi. It traveled left of center and struck a northbound 2003 Freightliner semi driven by Brandon Nelson, 36, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Pulley was transported to a hospital in Wichita. There were no other injuries. All three drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
