TOPEKA, Kan. — The first top prize on the $30 Multiplier Super Ticket was claimed this week by a couple from Hutchinson. The $250,000 prize is the largest instant win in Kansas Lottery history, and there are still three top prizes left in the game.
The winning couple, who chose to remain anonymous, scratched the winning ticket on Saturday evening.
The couple says they plan to put the money toward retirement and bills, but the win also allows them to organize a long-dreamed family vacation.
The winning ticket was sold at Yesway 1043 at 1000 W. 30th in Hutchinson.
There are still three $250,000 top prizes, as well as tens of thousands of other winners left in the $30 Multiplier Super Ticket instant-scratch game.
