WICHITA – A Sedgwick County woman faces theft charges after an investigation for identity theft and burglary.
On Thursday, Sedgwick County Sheriff’s detectives arrested 22-year-old Amanda Davidson. This was the result of an on-going criminal investigation focused on identity theft and burglary.
Detectives learned Davidson had been employed at a local Pizza Delivery business, where she is suspected of recording and taking credit card numbers, when order’s are placed over the phone. The numbers were then used to obtain merchandise.
They have allegedly identified compromised credit card numbers and are still contacting victims.
Sheriff officials are urging citizens to review their monthly statements and report any suspicious entries to their credit card company for further review.
The case against Davidson will be presented to the Sedgwick County D-A’s office for possible criminal charges.
