RENO COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just after 11:30 Thursday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by Daniel A. Kemp, 18, Hutchinson, was southbound on K14.
The vehicle ran off the roadway to the right and struck a culvert and utility pole.

Kemp and a passenger Brennen P. Hanner, 17, Cheney, were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
