HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County United Way will hold their volunteer day on Saturday, Aug. 25. The number of volunteers for this year has hit a record numbers.

According to Lisa Gleason, 637 volunteers have signed up to work on 32 different projects next week. Gleason comments on the generosity of the those who will participate:

 

Some of the projects include painting houses for Brush Up Hutch, working on the playground at Hospice and Homecare, working with TECH and numerous painting and gardening projects. The day will kick off with breakfast at DCI park and then the groups will head out to complete their projects with most being finished by noon.
