HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Public Restroom Company is taking the next step to making their move to
Hutchinson. The Minden, Nevada company announced in April that they would move a new manufacturing facility to Hutchinson.
The company is expected to employ 40- 50 workers. Debra Teufel with the Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce says the company is getting ready to sign off on their new location:
The company will move into the former Mega Manufacturing facility along E 4th Avenue. The building is currently a storage facility for Siemens.
Public Restroom Company assembles whole restrooms and then ships them to the customer’s location. Some of their products are at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and other major parks. The modular restrooms weigh between 30 and 40 tons when finished.
At the time of their April announcement, the company projected to have between $50 million and $75 million in annual sales in the next few years.
