HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A unique fundraising event is coming next week for the Reno County Museum.

The museum will be displaying some of the collection’s most unusual, risque’ and maybe even a little politically incorrect items for your viewing pleasure! The event is called WTF which stands for weird, tasteless and freaky, running on Aug. 31, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the museum.

Guests will have the opportunity to see artifacts that might never be exhibited to the general public due to their distinctive, sensitive natures. To top it off, participants will be able to handle many of these unique, awkward, and puzzling items up close. Curatorial staff will provide the grisly, gory, shocking, funny or just plain silly details about the items.

Guests are also invited to bring their own items with a contest for the most unique item.
