Dickinson County woman charged with embezzling credit union funds

TOPEKA – A Dickinson County woman has been indicted on charges of embezzling $85,000 from a credit union where she worked.

45-year-old Deborah A. Bomia of Enterprise is charged with one count of embezzlement from Enterprise Credit Union in Enterprise. The crime is alleged to have occurred from April 30, 2005, to Aug. 8, 2011, in Dickinson County, Kan.

If convicted, she faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in federal prison and a fine up to $1 million.
