HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Central Christian Cougars were defeated by the Attica/Argonia Titans 44-16.

Losing their season opener was a hard hit for the Cougars, but they had good plays throughout.

The first touchdown of the game was scored by Central Christian’s Garrett Burns.

In the second quarter, Deonis Coon had many defensive tackles, but the Titans pulled ahead.

Heading into the fourth, the score was 38-16, leading to the final ending for the Cougars’ first loss of the season.

Central Christian will play at home vs. Norwich Sept. 7 at 7 p.m.
