MAIZE, Kan. — It was a tough night for the Hutch High volleyball team as it dropped a pair of matches on the road Tuesday in Maize.

In the first match, the Hawks were beaten by Maize 25-19 and 25-18. Tina Robertson led the way for the Hawks with five kills. Peyton Allen had seven digs.

In match two, the Hawks fell to Derby 25-18 and 27-25. Robertson had six kills for the Hawks and Allen had 17 assists in the match. McKenzie Ontjes had seven digs.

The Hawks are back on the court Saturday at the Maize Invitational.
