RENO COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30p.m. Thursday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Chevy Cruze driven by Stephanie Diana Towers, 28, Hutchinson, was eastbound on 17th Avenue. The vehicle rear-ended a 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by Kay V. Huston, 79, Hutchinson, that was stopped at Waldron.
Towers was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Huston and a 1-year-old passenger in the Chevy were not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
