RENO COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Friday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Dodge Ram driven by Melvin L. Osner, 66, Hutchinson, was westbound on Kansas 61 two miles west of Arlington.  The driver turned left in front of a 2018 Nissan Sentra driven by Robert Lee Swank, 84, Ottawa  The Nissan struck the Dodge.

Osner, Swank and a passenger in the Nissan Rose A. Swank, 70, Ottawa, were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
