NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson Panthers (1-3) scored four touchdowns and beat the Holcomb Longhorns (1-3) 27-7. It was Nickerson’s first win of the season.

Nickerson’s defense held strong as Holcomb failed to score more than one touchdown in the game.

The Longhorns couldn’t stop the Panthers from scoring their last touchdown in the final quarter.

The Panthers travel to Hugoton next Friday, Sept. 28, for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
