SALINA – The 18-month-old girl that was life watched to Wesley Medical Center after being found unresponsive Monday has died at a Wichita hospital.
Authorities announced Wednesday morning that 18-month-old Breāelle Jefferson, the daughter of Robin Harrington of Salina, passed away Tuesday.
Medical crews were sent to the 600 block of Gypsum about 3:40 p-m, Monday afternoon to the report of the toddler not breathing. The girl was taken to Salina Regional Health Center and then life watched to Wesley Medical Center.
No charges have been filed in the case, but authorities are conducting an investigation and are awaiting the results of an autopsy.
