HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Area Chapter of Women for Kansas will have another meeting Monday, Oct. 15, at the Shears Technology Center Auditorium on the HutchCC campus. The meeting will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The chapter will show “Dark Money,” which examines “one of the greatest present
threats to American democracy: the influence of untraceable corporate money on our
elections and elected officials.”

In the wake of the Citizens United ruling, dark money floods elections nationwide, but
Montanans are standing up to stop history from repeating itself in a struggle that has the
potential to change the way elections happen across the U.S.

Women for Kansas is a non-partisan group whose mission is to recruit, motivate, and
educate women who will advocate for moderate policies and actively participate in the
process of electing moderates to public office.

Everyone interested is invited to attend.
