MARION COUNTY— One person was injured in an accident just before noon Tuesday in Marion County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Ford F150 driven by Owen, Alexander B. Owen, 62, Hutchinson, was west-bound on U.S. 50 two miles west of Florence.

The pickup traveled left of center and struck the trailer of an eastbound Peterbilt semi driven by Lane N. Harris, 55, Marysville, Washington and then the front of an eastbound Freightliner semi driven by  Scott F. Johnson, 49, Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Owen was transported to Wesley Medical Center. Harris and Johnson were not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
