TREGO COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged theft.

Kansas Game wardens received information from the Trego county sheriff’s department of two tree stands that were stolen from property in Trego county, according to a social media report from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Game Wardens. Authorities also had a photo of an unidentified individual trespassing on the property.

The Ness and Trego county Game Wardens were able to identify the individual in the photo and get a confession from him admitting to stealing the tree stands. The stolen stands were retrieved and charges are pending in Trego county.
